The COBRA® NG QUICK RELEASE features AustriAlpins innovative Triple Lock System. To open the buckle, the side clips are squeezed, the buckle is pressed together and then lifted upward. This deliberate sequence significantly reduces the possibility of accidental opening while remaining intuitive to operate when required.
Once closed, the buckle locks with a distinct audible click, providing immediate confirmation that it is securely engaged.

The male and female buckle halves are designed to mechanically interlock, allowing operational loads to be transferred through the buckle body itself rather than through the locking mechanism. Like all genuine COBRA® buckles, the NG cannot be released while under load, providing additional confidence during demanding use.
